URGENCY: Seattle Seahawks Must RESPOND as Sam Darnold Struggles and Division Race Heats Up

Seattle Seahawks face mounting pressure as the NFC West race intensifies. With Sam Darnold struggling to process under Brian Fleury’s new system, the offense must find answers quickly as rivals San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Rams enjoy easier schedules. Injuries to key players like Zach Charbonnet and Anthony Bradford further complicate Seattle’s push for playoff positioning, while a daunting three-game stretch featuring primetime matchups and a visit to the Denver Broncos looms large.

Dan Viens spotlights Darnold’s declining stats—longer time to throw, higher sack and interception rates—and questions if simplifying the playbook and leveraging the middle of the field can spark a turnaround. Key matchups against a banged-up Denver secondary and underperforming Broncos offense create a must-win scenario. Will Darnold and the Seahawks offense rise to the challenge, or will division rivals pull away in a critical phase of the NFL season?
