Week 5 Game-by-Game Breakdown: Rankings, Start/Sits, Projections & More!

Matthew Freedman and Zain Dhanani go game by game through the entire Week 5 slate, all 15 matchups with the Chiefs and Panthers on bye, using spreads, implied totals, injury reports and coverage data to sort out who's actually startable and who you're better off benching.

They open in London with Eagles-Jaguars, where Philadelphia is a 7.5-point underdog and could be without Saquon Barkley, DeVonta Smith, Dallas Goedert and three offensive linemen. Then it's Lions-Cardinals, the highest total on the Sunday board at 54.5, 49ers-Seahawks, Raiders-Patriots and Bears-Packers.

This week they also disagree a lot, and they get into why. Zain has C.J. Stroud at QB14 against Freedman's QB22. Khalil Shakir is WR26 for Zain and WR40 for Freedman. Deebo Samuel, Omarion Hampton, Colston Loveland and Mark Andrews all split them by double-digit spots too.

Along the way: Emanuel Wilson as the top waiver pickup in a Seattle backfield that may be down to him, Keon Coleman and Shakir in a 54.5-total game if DJ Moore sits, Carnell Tate as the one Titan worth starting, Jaylen Warren with the full-time role he finally has, Josh Downs against a Pittsburgh coverage group Zain grades out at an F, Keaton Mitchell over Hampton behind a broken Chargers line, Brenton Strange in London, Aaron Jones without Jordan Mason, and Dohnte Meyers if Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins both sit.

Plus the fades: Jalen Hurts without half his offense, Jameson Williams on a 15% target rate, Christian McCaffrey against a Seattle run defense allowing the least to running backs, Luther Burden for the fifth straight week, Daniel Jones, Jake Ferguson, Bucky Irving and Emeka Egbuka with an undrafted rookie at quarterback, and Derrick Henry on Sunday night.

Then Ravens-Falcons on Sunday night, Bills-Rams on Monday, and Buccaneers-Cowboys on Thursday.

If you've got a lineup decision you can't settle, the game is in here.
