Bryce Harper’s Phillies REDEMPTION, Padres SWEEP Cubs, Yankees EMBARRASS Red Sox, White Sox MOVE ON

David Ross and Anthony Rizzo are BACK with Episode 12 of Ross & Rizzo Unfiltered where the guys REACT to day 2 of the MLB Wild Card round. Bryce Harper and Kyle Schwarber’s back-to-back Home Runs propelled the Philadelphia Phillies past the Atlanta Braves and forced a decisive Game 3. The Phillies were the ONLY team to extend their series on Wednesday, as every other series ended in a sweep. The Chicago White Sox swept the Houston Astros for their FIRST playoff win since the 2005 World Series (also over the Houston Astros, then of the NL.) The New York Yankees smoked the Boston Red Sox as they outscored the Sox 18-2 over the two games, and set up a date with another division rival in the Tampa Bay Rays. Finally, the San Diego Padres swept the Chicago Cubs behind a complimentary performance of elite pitching, and timely hitting. The Padres will face off against the Milwaukee Brewers in the NLDS.
