Episode 25 - Dr Ali Bacher

Some conversations are interviews. Others become part of history. Dr Ali Bacher has lived almost every chapter of modern South African cricket. From captaining one of the country's greatest teams, through international isolation, the rebel tours and South Africa's return to world cricket, few people have witnessed more from the inside.

In this extraordinary conversation, recorded inside Dr Bacher's Johannesburg home and surrounded by priceless cricket memorabilia, he reflects on the moments that shaped both his own life and the future of South African cricket. This isn't simply the story of Ali Bacher. It's the story of South African cricket.
