Russia was reinstated to international events last week, but their path to competing remains murky. After CAS reinstated Russia, governments from around the world as well as their hockey federations have announced plans for boycotts, not granting visas and much, much more. So is Russia really going to be back?
Cam and Chris dive into this hot-button issue and share thoughts about the practical reasons this is a disaster for the IIHF, and why international governments may have to drive the decision-making in what comes next.
We talk some hockey, too, with thoughts on the NCAA season to date including Michael Hage's insane start to the year and how much he has been scoring. Plus, we look at the incredible performances of the goaltenders across the NCAA and why some are really standing out.
Lastly, we take a quick look at the U17 World Hockey Challenge and get to our regular segments including a special NHL Hometown Remix You Have To Pick One.
