Josh Heupel NOT READY to Name Starting QB for Alabama Week, but it SHOULD be George MacIntyre

Tennessee Volunteers quarterback decision looms as Josh Heupel keeps Alabama guessing. Will George MacIntyre or Faizon Brandon get the nod in this high-stakes SEC showdown? Eric Cain scrutinizes the Vols’ quarterback battle, breaking down MacIntyre’s efficient showing against Arkansas and the lingering impact of Brandon’s injury on his development and team prospects.

Key questions include Tennessee’s offensive inconsistencies, the role of big plays by Mike Matthews, and whether the play-calling reflects trust in the young quarterbacks. Eric Cain examines the Volunteers’ offensive line struggles, secondary play design, and Alabama’s dynamic run game led by Keelon Russell. Listeners get the inside scoop on NIL expectations, offensive strategy shifts, and mailbag insights on where Tennessee must improve to pull off an upset against the Crimson Tide. Can the Vols’ offense keep pace and capitalize on Alabama’s defensive strengths?
