HOT SEAT: Tennessee Vols Fans DEBATE Josh Heupel, Kim Caldwell, Rick Barnes and Expectations for VOLS

Tennessee Volunteers head coach speculation heats up as Eric Cain takes the temperature on Josh Heupel’s future and the other head coaches across the athletics department. Is another 8-4 football season acceptable for Tennessee, or is the seat getting warmer? With recent changes—including hiring Jim Knowles as defensive coordinator and investing in a new strength and conditioning program—the pressure is mounting for Heupel to get Tennessee back in the College Football Playoff chase.

The conversation expands to Rick Barnes’ historic run with Tennessee basketball, the challenges Kim Caldwell faces after a tumultuous Lady Vols season, and the early returns for baseball’s Josh Elander. Josh Ward joins to break down Tennessee’s latest Elite Eight exit, Ja’Kobi Gillespie’s standout campaign, and off-season priorities in the transfer portal. Plus, insight into Rodney Garner’s return to spring practice, quarterback battles brewing between George MacIntyre and Faizon Brandon, and why the upcoming LSU baseball series is a must-win for the Vols.
