Episode Notes

LSU wrapped spring football with its final scrimmage in Tiger Stadium, and the biggest takeaway was clear: Lane Kiffin’s offense is finally starting to look like Lane Kiffin’s offense.

After a sluggish start to spring where the defense dominated and turnovers piled up, the Tigers closed with an offensive surge. Husan Longstreet and Landon Clark continued rotating with the first team, but Longstreet is clearly making a push after opening with the 1s again. Trey’Dez Green hauled in a one-handed touchdown in the two-minute drill, Harlem Berry ripped off a 55-yard run, and Malik Elzy may have emerged as the biggest surprise of spring after multiple explosive catches.

Matt breaks down the intel from LSU’s closed final scrimmage, why the running game is the biggest sign of progress, and what Sam Leavitt’s limited return means for the quarterback room heading into summer.

Is LSU’s offense finally ready to match its elite defense? This spring finale may have answered that question.
