SOX POSTGAME: Sox Haunted by 8th Inning after Stellar Start from Davis Martin | CHGO White Sox

It was a pitchers’ duel in Game 3 of a 4-game series for the Chicago White Sox against the Houston Astros. Davis Martin made his return from the IL with a blister to throw 5.2 scoreless innings. Can he once again be the pitcher he was to begin the season for a playoff push? The Sox had their chance to break a scoreless tie in the 8th inning after Tristan Peters led off with a triple. But a pair of baserunning gaffes left the game scoreless.
