POSTCAST: Mets Drop Third In A Row; WILD Extra Innings Loss To Orioles

The New York Mets blew a 9th inning lead and lost to the Baltimore Orioles in a wild extra innings game.

Holding a one-run lead in the 9th, the Mets handed things over to their closer Kodai Senga and because baseball can be funny a cruel, Senga served up career home run number 300 to Pete Alonso that tied the game at 3.

A wild pitch by Daniel Duarte gave the Orioles the lead in the 10th, but a Marcus Semien RBI double tied things up at 4 and sent us to the 11th.

In the 11th, Jonathan Pintaro was ALMOST out of trouble but Colby Mayo hit a two-out, three-run inside the park home run to put the Orioles in front for good.
