Matt Derrick and Nick Jacobs break down the Chiefs’ selection of R Mason Thomas and what it means for Kansas City’s defense. The duo dives into his skill set, how he fits within Steve Spagnuolo’s system, and whether he checks the boxes as a true Spags guy.
They also discuss the potential upside that made him appealing to the Chiefs — along with the concerns that could make this a boom-or-bust pick.
Is this a perfect scheme fit or a gamble worth taking? Matt and Nick give their full reaction.
