We’re about a week away from the 2026-27 NHL schedule release, and rumors are that the Penguins will be center stage! Hunter and Patrick begin the show by discussing the departure of one of the Penguins’ front-office staff members, Vukie Mpfou. (1:45) After getting the assistant GM job in Nashville, who will replace him, and will it be one of Kyle Dubas’s former mates from Toronto? Then, with just about a week to go until we get the 2026-27 schedule, it looks like the Penguins will open the season in Raleigh against the defending champions. (12:50) Finally, Elias Pettersson’s name has been linked to the Penguins once again, but does he fit in Pittsburgh? (21:45)
