#1624 | Lacroix Scouting Special! Our New Centerback Signing ft. CFC Central! #CFC

In this episode of the London Is Blue Podcast, hosts Dan and Sam analyze Chelsea's new signing of 25-year-old French centerback Maxence Lacroix from Crystal Palace. The hosts discuss Lacroix's footballing journey from the Clairefontaine Academy to Wolfsburg and Palace, highlighting how his Premier League experience, physical dueling, speed, and proactive positioning bring much-needed senior leadership to Chelsea's backline. While noting minor areas for improvement such as agility in tight spaces and ball-carrying, they explore how he fits as a central center-back in Xabi Alonso's system and set expectations for a successful first season focused on increasing clean sheets.
