Golden State Defense Too Much for Fever + All-Star Teams Picked!

Welcome back to another episode of the Fever Focus Podcast! Join Alex Golden and Casey Johnson as they break down everything from the Fever's disappointing loss to the Golden State Valkyries to start their homestand. 

The guys break down why this loss was predictable, then discuss the extent to which the Fever can even be faulted for their poor play in the face of the buzz saw defense of the Valkyries. The Fever put together a good run to close the gap between the two teams, but ultimately were gassed as they tried to take advantage and keep the lead around.

Then, because this is the Fever after all, the topic shifts to the officiating, as it seems Caitlin Clark has had enough and is teaching a breaking point. Our cohosts largely agree: it's one thing to complain to the refs when you're wrong, but Caitlin is right most of the time she complains, and the refs rarely end up being the ones who come out looking well in these situations. 

Then, Alex and Casey end on a more positive note, talking aboht the All-Star Game, unique match ups on both teams, and the potential winners and losers of the game.
