The dust has settled on a tumultuous 2025/26 campaign, and Rangers Chairman Andrew Cavenagh has officially broken his silence. In a series of wide-ranging interviews across the mainstream and fan media outlets, Cavenagh has delivered a massive vote of confidence to Danny Röhl, confirming the German will remain in post for next season.
Despite a "horrendous" end to the season—including four consecutive post-split defeats that saw us finish a staggering third—the board believes Röhl "gives us the best chance" to win the Premiership title, provided he is given a proper pre-season and a completely revamped squad.
Cavenagh didn't hold back, effectively shifting the blame onto the squad’s mentality and calling for players with "steel, chemistry, and footballing IQ." But is backing Röhl after a catastrophic collapse the right call, or is the board out of touch with a frustrated fan base?
We react to Cavenagh's massive summer transfer revelations, the structure under Jim Gillespie, and what a "Rangers DNA" squad actually looks like.
