Nathan MacKinnon and the Avalanche fall flat with a terrible effort on their east road trip - Hockey Mountain High

If Nathan MacKinnon has more games like this road trip, the Avs are going to be in trouble. The Avalanche lost two very winnable games on their east coast back to back, losing 3-2 to the Philadelphia Flyers and 4-3 to the New Jersey Devils, two scores that really let them off the hook for their effort. The Avalanche have a record of 5-4-1 through their first ten games, historically in line with their past seasons, so where do they from here?
