Luis Campusano has finally arrived. Darren Smith and Marty Caswell discussed the Padres huge series win versus the Yankees, thanks to Campusano hitting two home runs and throwing out four would-be baserunners. The two discuss Fernando Tatis, Jake Cronenworth and Manny Machado hitting three consecutive homers off Yankees starter Gerrit Cole and another ace start from Michael King.

Marty and Darren recapped a busy Padres weekend that started with Ethan Salas making his Petco Park debut, a setback for a heartbroken Joe Musgrove, and the surprising news that Nick Pivetta will return off the injured list to start against the Washington Nationals. The two also hear from King on Campusano's laser focus, and manager Craig Stammen discusses why now was the right time for Pivetta.

Marty and Darren also discuss a weird weekend from the Padres offense, Fernando Tatis joining the 20/20 club for the fourth time in his career, and how his season will be viewed if the Padres miss the postseason, especially during a season in which the Dodgers appear vulnerable.
