DawgmanRadio: Everything was very un-golden like for the Huskies in their home loss to Minnesota

The guys from Dawgman.com - Kim Grinolds, Chris Fetters, and Scott Eklund - got together after Washington's 27-24 loss against the Minnesota Golden Gophers and they had plenty to talk about.

It was the first conference game of the season for both teams, but you wouldn't have known it watching the visitors. They were up for the fight and played like it.

The home side, on the other hand? They came out about as listless as any game we can remember. Add to it a short-field turnover that led to Minnesota's first touchdown, a huge lack of tackling in the first half, and the Huskies' inability to generate anything offensively until the fourth quarter.

That's when Demond Williams and the offense lit up for 14 points, but that was not enough to make up for three quarters of poor play.

The fight was there, but the execution in all three phases was decidedly not. And that all added up to a three-point loss that felt worse than a three-score loss.

With the Golden Gophers in the rearview and USC coming up, the guys ask this question to end their postgame show; how many conference wins will Washington get?
