Andy Newman is the Head Coach for the men’s team at Cal State San Bernardino. He has been a college basketball coach for the last 18 years. In this podcast, Coach Newman will talk about his time as a player for four different colleges. He will discuss his coaching mentors and what he learned during his time as an assistant coach. He will go into detail about what it takes to Coach college basketball including his time as the Head Coach at Cal State Fullerton and UTPB in Texas. Coach Newman is widely considered one of the most influential up and coming head coaches in the country. As the current head coach at Cal State San Bernardino he has completely turned the program around. Last season his team won 20 games for the first time at the school in 7 years.
