Bigger Than 12: Can Texas Tech Repeat? The BIG 12's Biggest Questions

Big 12 football is almost here, and the biggest questions surrounding BYU and Texas Tech are taking center stage. Jake Brend and Derek Duke break down the two teams that met in last year's Big 12 Championship, examining what BYU and Texas Tech return, their biggest offseason losses, quarterback questions, and their chances of competing for another Big 12 title.

The guys dive into BYU quarterback Bear Bachmeier, LJ Martin, and the Cougars' difficult task of replacing their top receivers, while also looking ahead to BYU's massive home matchup with Notre Dame. They debate whether that game could be the most important non-conference matchup in recent Big 12 history and what a BYU win would mean for the conference's College Football Playoff hopes.

They also break down Texas Tech, including Will Hammond replacing Brendan Sorsby, the Red Raiders' massive defensive losses, their returning talent, and whether their defense can remain elite. Plus, the guys debate Big 12 quarterback rankings, question Devin Dampier's place among the conference's best QBs, preview Week Zero, and wrap things up by drafting the best chip flavors.
