James McCann Delivers Go-Ahead HR as D-backs Bullpen Shuts Out Phillies

The Diamondbacks snapped their three-game losing skid on Wednesday behind an outstanding shutout performance from their bullpen and a huge eighth-inning homer by James McCann. We use the opportunity to heap some much-deserved praise on a D-backs bullpen that has been excellent this year when it matters most.

Meanwhile, the Diamondbacks' offense continues to struggle, and Corbin Carroll has had a brutal couple of weeks. What's gone wrong for Carroll at the plate lately? Who else in the offense needs to step up?

Finally, we give the latest injury updates on Corbin Burnes, Michael Soroka and others, and preview the Diamondbacks' upcoming series against the Houston Astros. Join Jesse Friedman and Jack Sommers on Snakes Territory, the official Arizona Diamondbacks show in the Foul Territory Network.
