In this episode we talk to Kate Aldridge, Director of Business Operations at the ECB about the campaign called The 53.

In 1973, England and Wales hosted the inaugural Women’s Cricket World Cup. 53 years on, the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup returned in June of this year and to mark the occasion, the ECB is recognized 53 women whose impact is helping cricket thrive at every level.

After our interview with Kate, we talk to the four women on this exclusive list who have a strong connection to the game of cricket in Wales.  They are, in order of their appearance in the episode:

Aimee Rees  -  Head of Women and Girl's Cricket at Glamorgan CCC

Ayesha Rauf  -  Cricket Coach and Mentor at Llandaff Cricket Club

Victoria Jones  -  Facilities Lead at Cricket Wales

Anna Harris  -  Umpire
