Who Wins the Pacific & Southwest? Our NBA Division Predictions

Who wins the Pacific and Southwest Divisions in the 2026-27 NBA season? Division Preview Week concludes on Locked On NBA Daily as Wes Goldberg, Matt Moore and Haize enter two final Division War Rooms to predict the standings and identify the biggest storylines in the Western Conference.

First, the Pacific Division has undergone a massive transformation. The Los Angeles Lakers are officially Luka Doncic's team after LeBron James' departure, the Clippers traded Kawhi Leonard to Toronto, the Phoenix Suns added Miles Bridges and the Sacramento Kings have an exciting rookie in Darius Acuff Jr. Can the Golden State Warriors keep up, and could the Pacific send just ONE team to the playoffs?

Then, the Southwest Division features Victor Wembanyama's championship-minded San Antonio Spurs, a Houston Rockets team looking for a playoff breakthrough and Cooper Flagg's Dallas Mavericks. Can Memphis or New Orleans surprise everyone?

Plus, our most exciting players and storylines from all 10 teams.
