SEC Podcaster Chimes In On Auburn Football

Auburn Tigers struggle to find their identity during a critical SEC bye week—can Alex Golesh’s squad still salvage their season? Chris Gordy and Zac Blackerby break down Auburn’s defensive woes under DJ Durkin, highlighting persistent issues with run fits and a lack of physicality up front. The discussion spotlights standout performances from linebackers Melendez and Atkins, but questions linger about the secondary’s impact and missed opportunities against top SEC running backs like Jadan Baugh and Desean Bishop.

On offense, Auburn’s O-line struggles hinder the productivity of quarterback Byrum Brown and running back Jeremiah Cobb, raising tough questions about play-calling and personnel decisions going forward. Is it time for major changes, or can the Tigers regroup before facing Georgia, LSU, and Ole Miss? Chris Gordy and Zac Blackerby preview Auburn’s brutal upcoming schedule and debate what it will take to ensure bowl eligibility down the stretch.
