Glenn Beauclerc is superintendent of Links Hope Island on the Gold Coast. Designed by Australian architecture firm Thomson Wolveridge Perrett opening in 1993, Hope Island is often considered one of the Gold Coast's best golf courses! Glenn shares with us his insight into what goes into making Hope Island such a great golf course, along with how he, his team, and the owner are working hard and planning for significant investment to the property in the near future.
Glenn also shares with us his greenkeeping career journey. A journey that includes working a a number of the Gold Coast's best courses and tournaments including the Ladies Masters at Royal Pines and the men's Australian Open at The Grand Golf Club. We also dive into his infatuation with 328 couch, the only turf type he worked with on greens throughout his extensive career and why he considers it the best. Oh and there's plenty of laughs along the way with a few flashbacks!
