MASN+ added a 2026 Orioles season-pass option, giving Baltimore-area fans another way to buy local games without starting from a full cable-style bundle. The season pass also reframes the comparison itself: a seasonal local pass is easier to weigh against a baseball-only budget than a monthly app that may stay active after the season ends.
The catch is timing and fit. A season pass can be the cleanest local answer for Orioles-first fans, but it does not automatically solve national MLB windows, Apple TV Fridays, FOX, ESPN, or any second team in the house. That is where the cheapest local option can still become the wrong total stack.
