SA v ENG ODI series review - A series defeat that felt like a win for England?

A bit of pop up podcast this one. But when the Bear and I had the chance to grab Mpho @MphoMoreki and Tim the Cricket Guy @Tim32_cricket it was just too good an opportunity to miss to chat over the South Africa vs England ODI series.

Even with England missing a few regulars, at the start of a World Cup year, this series undoubtedly meant something to both sides. England, woefully out of ODI form, needed to start gathering momentum. South Africa needed wins just to automatically qualify.

2 -1 it was in the end to South Africa, but that win for England in Kimberley, with tons for Jos Buttler and Dawid Malan, plus, of course those super six wickets for Jofra Archer will have meant England walked away feeling a lot happier than they might have.
