Should Spurs Drop Their Captain? | Spurs vs Coventry Preview | The Analyst

Coventry just beat Newcastle 4-1, so why does the data say they're the worst team in the Premier League? Professional analyst and former player Enya explains why the numbers make Tottenham vs Coventry one of Spurs' best chances to win all season.

Jim and Enya go through the expected points table, where Spurs have climbed from 15th to 12th while Coventry sit 20th, and look at why Coventry's 4-1 win over Newcastle doesn't change the picture. Enya breaks down Coventry's numbers (low possession, few shots on target, the league's lowest xG) and the one area where they're genuinely strong: in the air.

Then it's team selection. Maddison or Gallagher at number 10 against a low block, Senesi or Van de Ven at centre-back, Bergvall or Fernandes with Bentancur suspended, and Solanke or Marmoush up front. We each pick our starting XI, predict what De Zerbi will actually do, and go head to head on the score.

Stay for the xG rankings. Solanke tops them, and you won't guess who's second.
