From the CITIUS MAG Preview of the Zurich Diamond League: “Men’s 400m Hurdles – A Longshot to Beat Karsten Warholm After a two-month layoff from racing, world record holder Karsten Warholm looked incredible with his 46.28 to win the Silesia Diamond League on Aug. 16th. He’s seeking his first Diamond League title since 2021 and is the heavy favorite in this race. Olympic champion Rai Benjamin, who is selective with his race schedule and doesn’t make many trips to Europe to race, is passing on the Diamond League final to stay Stateside and prepare for Worlds. Alison dos Santos has not raced since the Prefontaine Classic and is not on the startlists either.
