Young Danish rider Cecilie Uttrup Ludwig took the women's race in convincing fashion, with Ludwig biding her time on the steep sections of the San Luca climb before unleashing a stinging attack in the last 400m of the race off Rooijakkers wheel, to win by over 10 seconds.
