I've always loved Diadora! Even when I was a kid, as cool as some of the Nike and Adidas stuff was, it was the Diadora football boots that I really wanted. They were very expensive, so I never got a pair, but look, quality and comfort was as good as it got at the time. Fast forward to 2026, and Diadora have brought back a classic from 1994. Aesthetically, they're beautiful, and on paper, they're everything I love about classic, leather football boots. Unfortunately though, they just aren't comfortable...

In today's video we take a closer look at the Diadora Match Winner ITA OG 94 LT+ MDPU. Made from what Diadora describes as "premium leather", in Italy, and with a $290 retail price. Surely they have to be good, right? Well, there are a few problems, but one big one that really hold these back. We discuss the good, the bad and what I would change to put Diadora back on the map in the world of football boots, because I really do want to love Diadora again!
