Join us on Monday 10th August at the picturesque Wormsley Cricket Ground, where two of the most popular cricket podcasts will go head-to-head in an exciting cricket match!
The Final Word, hosted by Geoff Lemon and Adam Collins, will play Wisden Cricket Weekly, hosted by Cameron Ponsonby, in a game where you will witness entertaining action while supporting the Lord's Taverners.
Players include comedians Fin Taylor, Ivo Graham, Tom Rosenthal, Sky Sports' Matt Floyd, Gloucestershire all-rounder and Test Match Special's Melissa Story, Tailenders podcast legend Mattchin Tendulkar, presenter Kate Mason, and many more from the worlds of cricket. And the match will be umpired by England legends David Gower and Mike Gatting!
Those attending the day will be able to enjoy live commentary throughout the game, with Test Match Special's Daniel Norcross being the lead. There will also be live show at the lunch break for the enjoyment of those in attendance, with some of your favourites from the Final Word and Wisden Cricket Weekly (and special guests) in conversation.
Not only will you enjoy a wonderful day out, but you'll also have the opportunity to support a great cause - all proceeds from the event will go towards The Lord's Taverners, raising vital funds to empower young people through cricket.
