UNIFIED VS. THE WORLD! | Watch Unified's Journey During the Genuine World Cup

The Atlanta United Unified Team presented by Gallagher is a team of athletes (those with intellectual disabilities) and partners (those without intellectual disabilities) that come together to play soccer in an inclusive manner. The Genuine World Cup is a tournament held in Houston, Texas where Atlanta United's Unified Team took home the gold!

Throughout the year, the Unified Team will play against other MLS Unified teams and be given a professional team treatment with training, travel, and coverage. The Atlanta United Unified team is closely tied to the first team with players serving as First Team Unified Ambassadors, attending practices and cheer the Unified Team on at matches. This year, ambassadors are Brad Guzan and Jay Fortune.

Atlanta United joined Major League Soccer in 2017 and won the 2018 MLS Cup in just its second season, the earliest an expansion team has won the title since 1998. The club has set multiple league records including season tickets sales (36,000-plus), single-season average (53,002) and total home attendance (901,033). Owned by Arthur M.
