On the podcast today: part two of our big Premier League preview and we begin with Hull City, who have signed a lot of players and have a fascinating manager. But can anyone make the case for the Tigers beating the drop? Ipswich will be looking to avoid a similar fate, and have brought in Gary O’Neil after Kieran McKenna’s exit.
Leeds were great for the second half of last season – can they extend that into this campaign? Can Liverpool push for the title again under Andoni Iraola? Manchester City expectations have slumped after a poor showing in the Community Shield, while Michael Carrick takes charge of his first full season at Manchester United.
Plus: Newcastle have sold their best players and ditched Eddie Howe, Nottingham Forest have Oliver Glasner at the wheel, and Sunderland aim to keep moving forward. As for Tottenham, they surely couldn’t finish 17th for a third consecutive time, could they? All that and your questions answered.
