June 2, 2010, Detroit Tigers pitcher Armando Galarraga was just one out away from baseball perfection, when umpire Jim Joyce made one of the sport's most historic blown calls. Joyce instantly invited a national firestorm on himself and took away a monumental achievement from Galarraga. In this E60 special presentation, Jen Lada sat down with nearly 40 players, coaches and officials as well as Major League Baseball’s commissioner to tell the unbelievable story of this call that reverberated through the sport and to examine the prospect of whether Galarraga will officially be recognized in the history books.
