Cal vs. Kansas State: The Golden Bears made it interesting late but lost on the road to the Wildcats, 99-96. Kansas State could not miss in the first half, making 67.6% of their field goal attempts, including going 6 for 8 on three-pointers. Cal was outscored 56-34 on points in the paint. Dai Dai Ames hit five three-pointers on his way to 25 points. Ames also had six assists and five steals. Chris Bell hit seven three-pointers and scored 27 points. Three Kansas State players scored twenty or more points. PJ Haggerty led the way with 23 points and six assists.
