Srixon vs Mizuno 2026 Irons – Which One Is Best for YOU?

Srixon vs Mizuno irons — we put both complete 2026 lineups on one table, all 14 heads, and matched every Srixon ZXi iron to the Mizuno it actually competes with.

These are the two brands golfers ask to hit in almost every iron fitting at Embers Golf, and the #1 and #2 iron brands in our store.

Stick around for the brand-new Mizuno Pro S-4 (it just unseated the softest iron we've ever hit) and for the one iron on the table a 5 handicap and a 20 handicap can both play.

In this video Trevor and Tayte line up Srixon's ZXi lineup against Mizuno's Pro and JPX lineups and sort them by player type: ZXiR HL with the JPX Hot Metal HL, ZXiR with the Hot Metal, ZXi5+ with the Hot Metal Pro, the new ZXi5 with the JPX Forged and Pro M-15, ZXi7 with the Pro S-4 and Pro M-13 — and why the Pro S-1 and S-3 have no Srixon equivalent. Then they hit the key pairings head-to-head on the launch monitor with the same Srixon Z-Star ball. The numbers are closer than you'd think: Mizuno was a touch hotter in the game-improvement and players-distance matchups, the Srixons sounded softer in two of them and the ZXi5 launched higher, and the ZXi7 vs S-4 gap came down to two degrees of loft. We also call out the two heads that overlap so much both brands could drop them, which irons combo-set together (and which don't), and the iron we'd hand to almost any golfer. If you're deciding between Srixon and Mizuno irons in 2026, start here.
