I Entered My FIRST Enduro Race… Completely Blind!

My FIRST enduro race… and I went in completely blind.

This is the 2026 Pemberton Enduro in British Columbia, Canada — 30km, ~1700m of descending, and 4 raw, technical stages with zero practice runs and a course that isn't released until you're dropping in. Whilst a super intimidating event, it was comforting knowing a couple of homies were doing it!

Whilst I was pretty happy with my results across the board. It was a super humbling feeling to be sat down once I saw the final times come through. A new found respect for those guys and girls at the top to be on the gas the entire time is insane to think. Huge props to the winners on the day.

As you'lI see in the borderline feature length film I've uploaded, I gave it my all and ended up placing 84th out of 124th in the Male class.

Also wanted to give a huge shout out to 'PORCA | Pemberton Off Road Cycling Association', who not only ran/facilitated and set up the event. But employed some of the most motivating volunteers to help see the day through. Not only were the aid stations 10/10, but there were so many sections of trail where I was about to die but was suddenly revived by good vibes/applause from these legends.
Also a shoutout to the Cruz family for hosting Apres in their backyard. Your home is beautiful!
