North Carolina defensive lineman Melkart Abou Jaoude had an outstanding debut season with the Tar Heels, earning Second-Team All-ACC honors for his efforts. Abou Jaoude finished with numbers that rival the best in Carolina history as he led the ACC and ranked 5th nationally in sacks with 10.5 on the year. To round things out, Abou Jaoude racked up 12 tackles for loss, a forced fumble and fumble recovery while compiling 5 QB pressures on the year.
