When Amusan ran 12.12 in 2022, the reaction outside Nigeria was overwhelmingly skeptical via equipment accusations, drug suspicions, the whole thing. Now that Masai is running 12.14, 12.17, 12.19, the all-time list has filled in around 12.12 and made it look exactly like what it always was: a great race.
