Behind every crazy swim mom is a dad who just comes along for the ride… completely clueless about the 47 emails, three schedule changes, meet entries, volunteer assignments, hotel reservations, tech-suit emergencies, missing goggles, packed coolers, washed towels, and emotional breakdowns it took to get everyone there.

He shows up holding a coffee and asks:

“What time does our kid swim?”

Sir… I sent you the heat sheet, highlighted the event, texted you the lane, and explained it twice in the car. 😂

Then he watches one race, yells, “GO FASTER!” and walks away feeling like an essential member of the coaching staff.

Meanwhile, Mom has been awake since 4:30 a.m., knows every swimmer’s best time, has six backup pairs of goggles, three Sharpies, two portable chargers, and enough snacks to survive a natural disaster.

Dad’s biggest contribution?

Carrying one chair from the parking lot and telling everyone, “We make a great team.”
