Just one day after the Tigers and White Sox eked out a 1-0 pitchers' duel, the AL rivals erupted for one of the biggest offensive displays in baseball history!

Wind gusts of up to 22 mph helped turn hitter-friendly Tiger Stadium into a launching pad on May 28, 1995, when Detroit and Chicago combined to bop 12 HOME RUNS -- an MLB record for one game that stood until 2019. Cecil Fielder and Ron Karkovice each cleared the stadium's 440 ft. wall in center field with ease.
