In the final session of the UVA SCM Pro Am, Gretchen Walsh started things off with a bang. In the first event of the session, Walsh won the 50 free, posting a time of 22.75 to break her own world record by .08. The next day, the Olympic medalist said she'd been training quite well leading up to this competition. She's looking forward to resting and competing at her best in Beijing at the SCM World Championships in December.
