Emma Weyant on 4:35 400 IM: "I'm happy with the progression I made from January to now"
Swimming
Emma Weyant busted out a dominant back-half of the 400 IM to take the event handily at the Ft Lauderdale Open last weekend. Clocking a 4:35.23, Weyant clocked a 4-second season best, good for #6 in the world this year. This was within 1.2 seconds of the 4:34.01 season best Weyant clocked last year in the World Championship final, where she placed 6th overall. It seems like a good sign for the new pro swimmer as she gears up for Pan Pacs later in the summer.
