The Wake Forest Demon Deacons were tested by NC Central, and were staring at a potential loss when junior Raven Preston came up with a big-time defensive play to help seal the win. Holding onto a 2-point lead with 5 seconds remaining, Preston came up with a huge steal to put an end to the Eagles' chances. Preston would then knock down 1 of 2 foul shots to extend the lead and Central's desperation heave would not connect.
