Diving the James Egan Layne is one of the best recreational dives on the south coast of England. A world war two liberty ship made to support the allied forces during the second world war, this ship along with her sister ships supports the war effort by keep the much need supplies flowing flowing, first from America to the UK and then from the UK to Europe and Russia to keep the war effort moving forward. This Liberty ship was sunk by a U-boat towards the end of the war and makes for an amazing diving.
