Zoe Brooks got the Wolfpack started on the right foot, scoring 16 of her 20 points in the first half. Brooks finished the game shooting 8-11 from the floor along with 5 assists, 4 rebounds and 4 steals. Khamil Pierre added 16 points and 12 rebounds while Zamareya Jones chipped in 13 points for Wes Moore's squad. The Wolfpack defense held the Panthers to 28% shooting for the game, including 3-14 from three-point range and forced 21 turnovers that led to 24 points for the Pack.
