Michael Thorbjornsen waited 65 starts for his first PGA Tour win. A decorated amateur who went straight to the Tour, he'd been runner-up twice and admitted he'd started to wonder if a win would ever come.
What changed was his mindset. He stopped measuring himself by the trophy and started judging the quality and control of his golf. On Sunday at the Rocket Classic he rolled in a 26-foot birdie on the hardest hole on the course to beat Xander Schauffele by two.
