Pros and Cons of the 24-Team Playoff + Who are the Tier 1 National Championship contenders?

Fox Sports’ lead College Football analyst Joel Klatt discusses the news that the College Football Playoff is expanding to 24 teams – explaining why the change is happening before diving into the Pros and Cons of the format. After one of the most chaotic days in college football history last weekend, Klatt reveals which 3 teams he believes stands above the rest of the National Championship contenders right now. He picks between teams like Ohio State, Georgia, BYU, Notre Dame, Miami and Indiana before a film breakdown of the Hoosiers’ Josh Hoover, showing where he excelled and where he struggled against Ohio State. Klatt wraps the show by discussing the high number of backup QBs playing a prominent role in their team’s seasons and why it is so difficult to find a good one.
