Why I'm FADING Rashee Rice in 2026

Rashee Rice is going as early as WR8 and as low as WR13 in home leagues, which
means an end-of-round-two or mid-round-three price for a receiver who is one
mistake away from potentially being off the Chiefs. Set that aside and the
profile still worries me. He has one career catch on a target thrown 30-plus
yards downfield while Mahomes keeps saying he wants the deep ball back. His
touchdowns come from Dallas Goedert territory, right on top of the goal line,
and he leads all wide receivers in the share of his targets that are screens
with a 4.7-yard average target depth since 2023. That is a limited player at a
premium cost in an offense that has not been elite lately.
